SMS Program Terms

The rules, frequency, and opt-out instructions for FCM's homeowner text-messaging program.

These SMS Program Terms ("Terms") govern your participation in Freedom Community Management's text-messaging program for homeowners associations. By opting in, you agree to these Terms and to Freedom Community Management's Privacy Policy.

1. Program Description

Freedom Community Management operates a text-messaging program that sends informational and account-related SMS messages to homeowners on behalf of their community associations. Messages may include:

  • HOA assessment statements and payment reminders
  • Board meeting and annual meeting notices
  • Community event announcements
  • Maintenance updates and amenity closures (pool, gate, clubhouse)
  • Covenant compliance and rule notices
  • Emergency and urgent community alerts

2. How to Opt In

There are two ways to enroll in Freedom Community Management's SMS program:

Option A — Sign up on this page. Use the form below. Your information will be added to our opt-in list and you will receive a confirmation text.

Option B — Text JOIN to (904) 490-7199. Text the keyword JOIN or START from the mobile number you want to enroll.

Whichever method you use, you will receive a confirmation message after enrollment:

"Freedom Community Management: You're opted in for HOA account and community updates. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. Terms: freedomcommunitymanagement.com/sms-terms Privacy: freedomcommunitymanagement.com/privacy-policy-terms-conditions"

HOA assessment reminders, board meeting notices, maintenance updates, and emergency alerts — sent only to homeowners who opt in.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on community activity. A typical homeowner can expect 2–6 messages per month, with additional messages during election season, special assessments, hurricane preparation, or other community-specific events.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your wireless carrier will apply to all messages you send to and receive from this program. Freedom Community Management does not charge for any messages sent through this program.

5. How to Opt Out

You can stop receiving messages at any time by texting any of the following keywords to (904) 490-7199:

  • STOP
  • STOPALL
  • CANCEL
  • END
  • QUIT
  • UNSUBSCRIBE
  • REVOKE
  • OPTOUT

After you opt out, you will receive a confirmation:

"You have successfully been unsubscribed. You will not receive any more messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe."

6. How to Get Help

For assistance, text HELP or INFO to (904) 490-7199. You will receive:

"Freedom Community Management SMS Program. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. For help: 904-490-8191 or customercare@fcmanagement.com."

7. Eligibility

This program is intended for homeowners and residents of community associations managed by Freedom Community Management. You must be the account holder of the mobile number you enroll, or have the account holder's permission to enroll it. You must be 18 years of age or older.

8. Consent

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of any purchase or service. Your community association membership, assessment obligations, and access to FCM services are not contingent on your participation in this program.

9. Supported Carriers

This program is supported by major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Sprint, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

10. Privacy

We treat your mobile number and SMS-program data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Freedom Community Management does not share SMS consent or mobile-number information with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. SMS-program data is used only to operate this program — to send the messages you opted in to receive and to respond to your opt-out and HELP requests.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Material changes that affect the operation of the program will be communicated through an SMS notice to enrolled subscribers and through an updated effective date below.
